Hummus
2 cans (15 ounce each) of garbanzo beans (chickpeas), one drained, one with liquid
1/3 cup tahini (sesame paste)
1 Tbsp olive oil
6 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
3 garlic cloves
1 tsp cumin
1.5 tsp kosher salt
- Place all the ingredients in a blender or food processor. If using food processor, mince garlic with processor first.
- Taste, season more if necessary.
- Drizzle with bit of olive oil before serving.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
