About

Food To Dine For was created out of a love for dining which entails great food, atmosphere, and conversation. This can take place at a three-star Michelin restaurant or a taco stand on the shady side of town. Wherever it is, we dine! We do not just eat.

We are passionate about food, dining with fellow food lovers, and photo documenting our tasty adventures. We are profoundly moved by brilliant food that is not only a feast for our delicate palate, but also a visual feast for our photographic eyes.

Coming from a background of chefs and restaurateurs has helped us to appreciate smart ingredients, skillful cooking, beautiful styling, and the amazing creativity that can go into making a dish special. We have been fortunate enough to see, smell, touch, and taste food that embodies all of these qualities. These experiences have filled us with utter joy and exhilaration, sometimes intoxicating us beyond words. Hence, the need for photographs.

Our foodisms:

  • Make eating healthy part of your normal lifestyle. (Eat green, local, and organic whenever possible. This way, you get to splurge a little when dining somewhere new or on vacation.)
  • When exploring a new restaurant, always end a great meal on a sweet note. (Halfway through your meal, stop and think about what you just ate. If the meal is excellent, then there is a high chance that the dessert will be good as well. So save room and do not eat your entire meal! However, if the meal itself is mediocre, then it may be better to skip dessert in order to avoid more potential disappointment.)
  • Dine like you mean it. (If you dine at a place known for their fried pig ears, then take a nibble of the piggy's ear. You cannot just have a salad.)

Our site is an homage to places that are worthy of its eponym. It is a gallery of our best experiences that we feel is worthy of sharing with others. Some galleries may be light on words and heavy on photos.

Enjoy the delicious ride as you look through the site and please avoid drooling on your monitor.  :)
