If you enjoy trying new foods, sharing your food with others, and chatting about food-related topics, then let's dine together. We will taste delicious food laid before us and have a fun evening filled with food and adult conversation. You do not need to be a food expert of any kind, just an enthusiastic diner and open to new experiences.
During dinner, we will "unplug" from our devices and we will not whine about our woes. The only kind of "whining" that will be allowed is the
kind that is paired with our dinner! I may photograph everything
that we eat and post the photos on this site if they are worthy. Note: You can schedule an uno-to-uno whining
session with me after dinner. :)
Just let me know if you want to join us for any of the dates on the dining calendar. I will let you know the location once it has been chosen. Suggestions are welcome and all dining locations are subject to change at any time. I will let you know if that should happen. Note: In order to keep the dining experience intimate, we will keep the number of diners per outing to a small group. No need to fret if one outing gets filled up though, we will always set up more outings because we will always need to eat!
One caveat:Let us not text, tweet, talk on the phone, or check messages constantly during our lovely dinner together. If we do use the phone, then let's use it for something important or to check something related to our conversation or to take a photo of our yummy meal. Otherwise, let's please keep our devices at bay so that we can enjoy quality time together - off the grid. :)
Max. participants per outing: 6-8 adultsEven though we enjoy dining out and trying new places, we also enjoy cooking, experimenting with new recipes, and eating at home most of the time. Cooking and eating at home is also healthier because we try to use fresh, quality ingredients. This means that we avoid foods which contain: pesticides, HFCS, refined sugar, MSG, steroids, hormones, antibiotics, and foods that are highly-processed. We buy local, organic, grass-fed, free range, and non-GMO whenever possible, and love supporting the local farmers.
If you are an advocate of healthy cooking or you're interested in a healthier lifestyle, I invite you to join me for a night of cooking, experimenting, and enjoying healthy food together. Please cook and bring a dish that goes with the theme of the night and take care to use fresh and healthy ingredients (refer to my idea of healthy in the above paragraph). If you would like come over ahead of time to prep and cook with each other at my house, just let me know.
We will begin eating at 6:30 p.m. Significant others/friends are also welcome if they are interested in healthy cooking and are willing to eat what we all make (no one is escaping our cooking and naysayers will be given a timeout and possibly banned from future events). So get your apron on and let's cook!
